The Ohio River Valley
Eighth Annual Barrel Tasting Tour

Harmony Hill Barrel Cave Kinkead Ridge Winery Meranda-Nixon Tasting Room

Three wineries in southern Ohio and one in Augusta Kentucky (a short ferry ride away) have joined together for the Annual Barrel Tasting, Saturday November 30. Meet the winemakers and sample future vintages at Kinkead Ridge, Harmony Hill, Meranda-Nixon and Baker Bird in Augusta KY.

This is a classic event in wine making regions for family and friends to gather together to taste existing and future vintages.

Locally produced wine is a great holiday gift.

Hours vary, see below for details.

Currently released wines will also be available at the tasting counters for those interested in purchasing that special holiday gift.

What to expect at a barrel tasting.
This is a California video. Please note, I don't believe any of us sell "futures" as described here.

Cincinnati Magazine featured this event in the Top Picks for November 2008! "Readers know all about our region's world class grape soil. For the Ohio River Valley Annual Barrel Tasting Tour,  wineries offer samples of unreleased vintages. Can you say road trip?"
