The Ohio River Valley
Annual Barrel Tasting Tour

Saturday, November 28, 2009

Five Southern Ohio wineries team up for the annual Ohio River Valley Barrel Tasting Tour.
Spend time in the city or the country with the winemakers/winegrowers at

Kinkead Ridge, Harmony Hill, Burnet Ridge, Henke,
and Woodstone Creek Wineries.

All will open their cellars to feature barrel sampling of unreleased vintages. Currently released wines will also be available at the tasting counters for those interested in purchasing that special holiday gift. Pricing and hours vary. Please check with each winery for details. Start a holiday tradition with your friends and family, and visit your local wineries!

Last year, Cincinnati Magazine rated this in their Top Seven List of Things to Do in November.

Kinkead Ridge will also be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on December 5 and 12. The winery will then close for the season until May 2009. The barrel tasting will only take place on November 28.

First time visitors, please note: The winery is not located at the vineyard, which is three miles away. It is located in a small residential area, east of downtown Ripley, 3 blocks behind McDonalds. There will be signage on the appropriate corners.

Please do not speed! First time visitors sometimes get a speeding ticket on the way to the winery.
