"Everybody I've ever met who got into the wine
business has always approached it either because they loved viticulture or
they loved enology. They had a passion for one or the other. I've never
met anyone who's gone into the wine industry and started a winery because
they wanted to sell wine." |

The state of Ohio requires us to charge a tasting fee for wine.
Kinkead Ridge makes premium wines in limited quantities. The winery is primarily a production facility, however we do taste and sell wine on site.
Although no restaurant is associated with the winery, there are restaurants in the Ripley area or we encourage you to bring a picnic lunch as there are picnic tables along the river in downtown Ripley. Cohearts Riverhouse Restaurant on the river has no corkage fee. The Front Street Cafe in New Richmond, about 35 minutes east of Ripley is on the River, and Andouille is also located on Highway 52.

--Dorothy Gaiter and John Brecher, Wall Street Journal: "One of the many wonderful things about a trip to wineries is that it's a reminder that wine is a product of personal passion. On store shelves these days, too many wines taste alike. A visit to Wine Country, tasting small-production, often unusual wines, is always a welcome eye-opener." "The most memorable wines we tried give an idea of the wonders that await you in tasting rooms."
